The concept of ' joy' is something that many of us are unconscious of. It is intangible but oh so real. It is something that we must strive for, eventhough it is a free gift. Joy comes through obedience. But primarily when we are abiding in Christ. John tells us that it is in unity with the spirit that we are made complete with the asking . ( John 15) . Peter tells us that in abiding we will be completely equipped with the things that make our joy overflowing. The concept of joy therefore moves beyond being a ' concept' and becomes spirit and becomes life. May we stive to maintain our joy as we abide in Jesus. lauren

psalm 5
It is such a pleasure to seek God when we wake up. To open our eyes and say " Good morning Jesus!'. I believe He answers. Psalm 5 says that early in the morning the psalmist seeks God and this has been such a beautiful scripture to pray to God in the mornings along with everything else that i say to Him. And the other day He answered and said " The Glory of the morning also seeks thee; for thy time is come!" . God hears us believers, let us continue to be encouraged and to encourage each other. Nothing happens to us without God being aware of it. God desires dialogue with us even more than we do with Him. It is His pleasure to know that we have set appointments with Him. love lauren
